If you're going to be in the Kanto area over Golden Week, you might like to attend the EarthlingZ Golden Week Gathering at The Greenhouse, a musical guesthouse/party space in the mountains a bit beyond Chichibu.

The format is informal, with many musicians attending, excellent food being served, and music almost all the time, both in the giant upstairs room and in the garden.

There will be ethnic instrumentalists, and trance and ambient DJs. Many futons are available, but it might be a good idea to bring a sleeping bag, and appropriate clothing for traipsing in the mountains.
